Painted Light 13

Like "Ascension" [link] from my series "Trials of a Tried Soul", for this photo a strand of rainbow Christmas lights was hung from the balcony and twirled in a circle. A camera was then aimed down the center of this painted light "vortex" and fired for 15 seconds of exposure. This is the end result.

This was also the first of these "vortex" shots, and the exposure time was a little bit trial and error. Since this was set for 15 seconds of exposure, then it became a tad bit over exposed. For the rest I set the camera to 10 seconds of exposure and it worked out fine.
